تانلبر یک وی پی ان است که با ایجاد یک تونل بین کامپیوتر شما وچند سرور که در کشورهای مختلف  قرار دارند امکان دور زدن سانسور اینترنت را فراهم می کند. این وی پی ان با حفظ حریم خصوصی و رمزگذاری اطلاعات  یک ارتباط امن را فراهم می کند.


این نرم افزار به دو صورت تجاری و رایگان ارائه شده است. نسخه رایگان این برنامه دارای محدودیت حجمی 500 مگابایت در یک ماه است. برای استفاده از نسخه رایگان نیاز به ایجاد یک اکانت دارید. اکانت را می توانید بلافاصله بعد از نصب برنامه ایجاد کنید.
همچنین می توانید با ارسال یک پست در تویتر1 گیگابایت دیگر به حساب خود اضافه کنید. برای اینکار در سایت این نرم افزار با همان حساب کاربری لاگین شوید و در حساب کاربری خود در قسمت Get More Free Data گزینه Tweet Now را کلیک کنید و بقیه مراحل خواسته شده را انجام دهید.
